Sharing a picture of my Shishigashira, I have had this tree for several years, this is the first time it flowers. Usually those flowers turn into seeds, so fingers crossed. I am very surprised at how many flowers it has put out, almost the entire tree. I have an older red maple that produces seeds, but the flowering is minimal, 100 to 150 seeds at most per season. The Shishigashira has produced many more flowers despite being smaller. Let's see how many of these flowers turn into viable seeds this year.
